More, more, and more Commissions!

Well I promised everyone a giveaway, and Part 6 of my Game of Thrones series... sadly I was not able to get to those. That's because I have been extremely busy! And this is a good thing!

I'm making jewellery for two weddings this year, and consulting with two more brides who might book me for their bridesmaids' jewellery.

And, I've been swamped with commissions. Gah.

AND, I've been completing/editing all my teaching material for my summer job. I tell you, it never rains but it pours. I spent a lot of last month twiddling my thumbs and slowly working on my thesis, but now I can't find any time for anything except work and jewellery. Arguably the same thing these days...

Anyways. I do have to give fair warning that from June 27th to July 13th it will be very hard to contact me. I'm working at a sleep-away camp and my only time to check emails is between 10:00pm and midnight. Beyond that, I will be (hopefully) inspiring a class of eighteen students and teaching them creative writing.

My online store will still be operating as per usual, but any orders placed will be shipped on July 15th, OR earlier, depending if I happen to have a day off. No guarantees until the 15th, though.

Here's a few photos of some of the commissions I've completed:

My giveaway and my last Game of Thrones post (for the season, anyway) will be taken care of when I get back, on July 15th.

Until then, ciao folks! Wish me luck as I enter the world of teaching and camp!

Crystal Clay & Game of Thrones - Part 5, House Frey

The Freys. Gaaaaaaaaaaaah. Episode nine. Stab stab stab. It happened. It actually happened. I read the book years ago, but it still shocks me. I won't say anymore. I don't think I can say anymore.

So without further ado, I present the Freys..... (When will that Walder finally die?)

I used 'cold' colours for the Freys. Stone Grey and a metallic blue.

Ah, the joys of stamping crystal clay.

Yeah, I had to photograph in a pinch so I used tissue paper.

some frills... tried to make this bracelet Gothic and gloomy, much like the Twins.

I had fun with this one! Lots of texture that I added to the clay myself.

Yes, I know... it doesn't quite match the bracelet. But that's okay.

Man oh man.... one episode left! I'll probably spend that one (much like this one) crying in the corner. I'm still bummed out from last night's episode. Here's a little something to cheer you all up:
